ABOUT SPINIX

A clearer way to compare UK free spins

Freespinix exists to cut through the noise around free spins offers in the UK. Three categories, ten verified casinos, and one editorial standard applied across every entry.

Why Freespinix exists

Freespinix was built because most UK free spins comparison sites don't deserve the trust they ask for.

The pattern is familiar. A site shows outdated offers from operators that pulled the promotion months ago. Wagering requirements are mentioned in tiny grey text below a 200-spin headline. The "rating" is a number with no methodology behind it, awarded based on how much the casino pays the site per signup. T&Cs that contradict the headline offer are buried two clicks deep. And underneath all of it sits a basic conflict: comparison sites are paid by the casinos they're supposedly comparing.

That conflict isn't going away. Affiliate commission is how every UK casino comparison site funds itself, including Freespinix — it's a legitimate model and there's no version of this market that runs without it. What changes between sites is what happens with that conflict. Some sites let commission rates determine rankings. Some bury terms to protect conversion. Some publish whatever the casino's marketing team sends over.

Freespinix exists to do the opposite. Every offer on this site is claimed, played, and verified end-to-end by the editorial team before publication. Every term — wagering, max win, expiry, eligible games — is read directly from the operator's own T&Cs and surfaced on the offer card itself, not hidden in linked small print. The six-point rating methodology is published in full. Affiliate commission is excluded from the rating by design. When an operator that pays more commission scores lower than an operator that pays less, the lower-paid operator ranks higher.

The result is a comparison site that earns trust the slow way — by being correct, repeatedly, and by being transparent about exactly how the rankings happen. That's the only way this work is worth doing.

Editorial principles

Four standards every offer is held to before publication.

UKGC only

Every casino we list holds a current UK Gambling Commission licence. We re-check standing on each verification cycle.

Transparent terms

Wagering, max win, eligible games, and expiry are surfaced on every offer card — no buried clauses.

Re-verified regularly

Offers are re-checked against the operator's current terms. Outdated or pulled offers are removed within 24 hours.

No commission bias

We publish offers we'd recommend to a friend. Commission rates do not influence rank or rating.

How Freespinix works

Three concrete things separate Freespinix from a typical UK casino comparison site.

First: every listed offer is verified end-to-end before publication. The editorial team registers with the casino, completes identity verification, claims the spins, plays the eligible game, and reads the full terms. If the spins don't work as advertised, or the terms differ from the headline, the offer doesn't go up.

Second: re-verification runs at least weekly against the operator's live promotions page. Material changes (wagering, max win, expiry, deposit amount) trigger an immediate re-rating regardless of cycle. If an offer drops below 7.0 overall, it's flagged for editorial review and either rewritten with the new terms or removed within 24 hours.

Third: the commercial side is firewalled from editorial. Freespinix is an affiliate site — when a user clicks through and deposits, the casino pays a commission. That commission funds the editorial work on this site. But the commission rate has no influence on ratings, rankings, or which offers get listed. A higher-paying casino with a weaker offer ranks below a lower-paying casino with a stronger one. The detail of how this firewall works in practice sits on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

WRITTEN AND VERIFIED BY

Freespinix is edited by Jon Young, who has spent over a decade covering UK iGaming — focused on casino bonus terms, regulatory tracking, and affiliate compliance across UKGC-licensed operators. Every offer on this site is verified end-to-end before publication: registered, claimed, played through, and cross-checked against the operator's live terms. No offer is listed without passing the same four-step process, and no rating is influenced by commercial relationships. The full methodology, including how each of the six rating criteria is weighted, is on the How We Rate page.
