Why we use cookies
Freespinix uses cookies to:
- Remember your cookie consent choices so we don’t ask you again on every visit
- Keep the site functioning correctly during your visit
- Understand, in aggregate and anonymously, how visitors use the site (only with your consent)
We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking, behavioural advertising profiles, or fingerprinting.
Cookie categories on Freespinix
We group cookies into three categories, each with its own consent setting:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work. These cannot be switched off. They include cookies that remember your consent choices and that keep the site secure.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Only loaded if you accept analytics cookies.
- Marketing — used to measure the performance of any campaigns we run. Only loaded if you accept marketing cookies. We do not currently run advertising campaigns, so this category is unlikely to set any cookies in practice.
Managing your cookie preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the button below. This opens the same preferences panel you saw when you first visited the site.
Browser-level controls
You can also manage cookies at the browser level. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies entirely or for specific sites. The exact steps depend on the browser:
- Chrome: open Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data. Full guide at support.google.com/chrome.
- Safari: open Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data. Full guide at support.apple.com.
- Firefox: open Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data. Full guide at support.mozilla.org.
- Edge: open Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies. Full guide at support.microsoft.com.
What happens if you disable cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the site to stop working — for example, your cookie consent choice may not be remembered, and the preferences modal may need to be re-completed on each visit. Blocking analytics cookies has no functional impact on the site and simply stops anonymous usage data from being collected. Blocking marketing cookies has no functional impact and stops any marketing-attribution data from being collected.
